Located by the river, Greenwich is an idyllic place to relax and while an entire and easy day away.
This lovely two hour tour offers the opportunity to visit some of the most important icons in English History.
See a picturesque and panoramic view of The City of London, take a selfie underneath the world’s largest painting (The Painted Hall – depends on opening times and visitor regulations), take a picture of the Cutty Sark which is the world’s most famous tea clipper, learn about the sea in the Maritime Museum, learn about space in the Astronomy Centre and see where Henry VIII and his feuding daughters were born.
This tour offers you the opportunity to see all of this and more.
From here you can continue your journey by spending the rest of the day exploring the wonderful gastro pubs and sites Greenwich has to offer or catching a quick connection to Canary Wharf to see the heart of the capital or straight back to London Bridge.

Our tour guide was Vincent who turned out to be very knowledgeable and very entertaining. The weather wasn’t great and very windy, so be prepared if you go on his tour as it was very windy walking along the Thames path. Also take a brolly just in case it rains. The tour lasted about 2 hrs having started by the Cutty Sark and finishing up at the top of Greenwich Park. I will certainly be looking into other tours organised by Wonders of London.
The guide – Vincent was very good, knows a lot about the area, history and well known the topic. He passed the information in very easy way to understand and get interested in.
I am french and I have sometimes some difficulties to understand people when they speak in english but our guide (Vincent) was amazing ! He explained us everything, he was funny so the tour wasn’t boring ! I loved it and I highly recommend to do it !!
